Jiten Bhatt, a Yoga and wellness expert, was born in the foothills of the Himalayas, India. He was raised in a small family with traditional values, where daily practices like reciting the “Gayatri Mantra” were a regular part of life. These rituals ignited his interest in spirituality and set him on a path of profound self-discovery as a Yogi.

During his formative years, Yogi Jiten immersed himself in various yoga ashrams in Rishikesh, where he dedicated himself to learning diverse Yogic practices and the hidden wisdom they held. Thanks to the blessings of his mentors, he not only delved into his inner world but also explored the wider external world.

Jiten’s journey continued, leading him to work for more than a decade in some of the world’s finest Destination and Resort Spas, scattered across Asia and the Caribbean. His specialization lies in Traditional Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa flow, encompassing Asana, Pranayama, and Meditation. His exposure to different forms of yoga, Ayurveda, bodywork, and traditional Thai Massage enabled him to craft a unique and personalized style of practice and instruction.

Sushant Ji

Yoga Philosophy

Post Graduate in Yoga Pscholoy from Bihar School of Yoga

Sushant is a postgraduate in Yoga Psychology (1997-99), from the World-renowned Bihar School of Yoga and worked as a Lecturer there in the same department for four years. As a lecturer at the Yoga University, Sushant had opportunities to lead practical classes on Hatha and Kundalini Yoga, Meditations and Philosophy talks with specialization in Samkhya, Tantra, Kundalini and Yoga Philosophies.

In 2005, Sushant began his teaching journey in Pune, India, as a freelance yoga instructor, collaborating with institutions like Muktangan Drug Rehabilitation Centre and leading corporate classes. In 2006, he joined Ananda in the Himalayas as Head of the Yoga Department, where he trained teachers and gained recognition as Spa Professional of the Year (2010) and one of the Best Healers and Fitness Gurus (2014). A master in Yoga philosophy, Hatha, Kundalini, Kriya Yoga, and meditation, Sushant has led workshops and retreats worldwide.

Having successfully accomplished a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification from Yoga Alliance, Jyoti is now actively imparting her wealth of knowledge and experience at Jiten Yogshala. Beyond her role as a yoga instructor, she is also a skilled Hina (Mehndi) artist. Her versatile talents extend to having a profound understanding of authentic native (Gharwali) and Indian cuisine.

In her own words, Jyoti emphasizes, “The way we prepare food is the secret to its taste and nutritional value, not just the ingredients.” At Jiten Yogshala, she ensures that all the meals provided to the participants (sadhaks) are not only meticulously prepared but also health-conscious, aligning with the principles of yoga and wellness.
